Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for third-party MSP delivering onshore, offshore, and onsite production support 24x7.
• Serve as IT liaison for operations center with operators, leadership, stakeholders, and support teams.
• Monitor system health, performance, infrastructure, and dashboards to identify and resolve issues.
• Lead technical troubleshooting for complex production incidents across vendors and teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations, emergency responses, and major incident management processes.

We're looking for a Senior IT Applications Analyst to serve as a key technical resource supporting a mission-critical operations center in St. Petersburg, FL. This role sits at the intersection of daily production support and strategic delivery, requiring someone who can balance hands-on troubleshooting with continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll work closely with operations center personnel, business stakeholders, vendors, and support teams to monitor system health, troubleshoot complex issues, coordinate incident response, validate releases, and support downstream integrations ensuring critical operational systems remain reliable, secure, and available around the clock. You'll also play an important role in the ongoing modernization of core platforms, supporting recurring upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and deployment initiatives.

This is a senior-level position within the IT Applications Analyst track. You'll manage work in your area of specialization with minimal supervision, operate independently, and apply advanced skills to identify problems, develop solutions, and take action to resolve them.

This is a hybrid role, and candidates must live within a reasonable commute of St. Petersburg, FL.

What You'll Do

• Provide oversight for a third-party managed service provider delivering onshore (including onsite) and offshore production support 24x7.


• Serve as the primary IT liaison for the operations center, partnering closely with operators/dispatchers, leadership, business stakeholders, and support organizations to ensure reliable system operation.


• Monitor overall system health, application performance, infrastructure, and operational dashboards to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues before they impact operations.


• Lead technical troubleshooting for complex production incidents, coordinating across vendors, infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and business support teams to restore service and minimize risk.


• Support operational readiness through participation in on-call rotations, emergency response activities, and major incident management processes.


• Participate in planning, testing, validation, and deployment of platform enhancements, ensuring new capabilities are thoroughly vetted before production implementation.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on system reliability, operational efficiency, automation, monitoring, reporting, and platform modernization.


• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate system performance, identify operational gaps, and develop recommendations for improvement.


• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, maintaining a deep understanding of system architecture, operational workflows, and downstream dependencies.


• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, support playbooks, knowledge articles, and implementation plans.


• Communicate system status, operational risks, incidents, defects, outages, and project updates to technical and business leadership.


• Research emerging technologies and industry best practices related to operational systems, automation, and cloud adoption.


• Provide technical leadership and sound judgment when evaluating alternatives, resolving complex issues, and prioritizing work.


• Support readiness planning, validation exercises, and operational drills to ensure critical systems remain prepared for high-impact events.
