Farmers Mutual Hail (located in West Des Moines, IA) is currently looking for a qualified undergraduate to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program.This is a paid internship starting Monday, May 17 through Friday, August 6, working up to 40 hours per week for the summer, with the potential to turn into a full-time, permanent position in the future.
We are looking for currently-enrolled college students who are close to the West Des Moines area, as this is not a remote internship.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:Must be a currently-enrolled sophomore, junior or senior at an undergraduate college or university, majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field (May 2027 graduates will not be eligible).
Skills: Exposure to scripting, source control, Linux, Windows, CI/CD, or other software development tools is a plus. Must be willing to learn, communication clearly, follow established procedures, and work effectively with experienced team members.
