Job summary

Mvt Logistics is seeking an Application Administrator to maintain and configure specific COTS applications in a role that focuses on stability and efficient operation. You will provide second-level support, monitor performance, and coordinate with IT teams to resolve incidents.

Responsibilities include documenting processes, training staff on updates, driving improvements, and implementing automation. Remote options may be considered for the right candidate in the United States.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience; equivalent education/experience accepted.
• A+ certification preferred.
• Experience with RingCentral is a plus.

• Perform routine updates and patches under supervision.
• Document processes and procedures related to application management.
• Assist in testing and deploying new applications or upgrades.

Job Summary

The Application Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and stability of specific COTS (“Commercial-Off-The-Shelf") applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support for application-related issues, including troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of incidents.
• Monitor application performance and respond to alerts or notifications.
• Coordinate with technical support, server administrators, network administrators, and others as necessary to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct technician training sessions for applications, new features, or updates.
• Investigate and diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application processes, procedures, and performance.
• Implement automation and scripting for routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Perform routine updates and patches under supervision.
• Document processes and procedures related to application management.
• Assist in testing and deploying new applications or upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT related field or relevant work experience (Preferred).
• Two (2) years of relevant experience (Preferred). An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Basic certifications (Preferred) - A+.
• Experience with RingCentral a plus.

Preferred location El Paso TX or Las Cruces NM, Remote considered as well.
