Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client in Inver Grove Heights, MN by filling an entry-level Appliance Service Technician position. The role involves servicing appliances and will transition into larger projects as you gain experience.

Training starts in the first 30 days with simulations, scenario questions, and job shadowing with experienced technicians. After 30-60 days you will handle basic service calls, with potential for a $1-$2 per hour pay increase upon transitioning to

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to diagnose and repair appliances.
• Hands-on problem solver who enjoys tinkering and researching solutions online when needed.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-service minded.
• Must have a basic tool set and a valid driver's license with a decent MVR.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.).
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Appliance Service Technician (Trainable for right candidate)

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a client in filling an Entry-Level Service Technician position based in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This role involves servicing appliances and will transition into larger projects as you gain experience and confidence.

Responsibilities:

• Service and repair appliances that include washers and dryers, Stoves, Refrigerators, Dishwasher etc.
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure machines are functioning safely and efficiently.
• Manage service tickets electronically, documenting work performed and ordering necessary replacement parts.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service while working with property managers, maintenance teams, and tenants.
• Follow company standards of integrity, reliability, and quality workmanship on every service call.

Training & Development:

• First 30 Days: Training guide provided, including computer-based simulations, "what would you do" scenario questions, and job shadowing with experienced technicians.
• 30-60 Days: Begin handling basic/easy service calls and gain hands-on experience working
• Upon transitioning to company payroll, technicians may move up to servicing residential appliances solo, with the potential for a $1-$2 per hour pay increase.
