Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Utah to guide customers through our home improvement offerings and turn ideas into completed projects. You will move around the store, answer questions, and close sales by explaining features, promotions, and financing options.

Daily tasks include assisting customers, providing project estimates, coordinating orders, and coaching teammates. The role emphasizes customer service and product knowledge in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's retail if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing orders, and ensuring project completion.
• If in the Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors to restock merchandise.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates in the department and coach development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
