Job summary

AHS American Home Shield Corp is seeking an Appliance Representative to handle inbound calls and emails, researching policies and documenting customer interactions. You will advocate for customers and resolve issues using our case management tools.

Responsibilities include selecting suitable replacement options, guiding customers through alternatives, and resolving escalations promptly while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience and/or training.
• Internet access with sufficient speeds (minimum 4.6 Mbps upload/download).
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Handles inbound phone calls regarding appliance replacement orders and provides customer service for replacements, upgrades, or cash-in-lieu of replacement.
• Interprets customer contracts to determine appropriate replacement models for current appliances.
• Assists customers in finding a comparable replacement appliance from approved vendors.
• Discusses product replacement or repair options with customers.
• Handles escalated customer service issues until resolution.
