Job summary

Mac Properties is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician to service apartment washers and dryers, perform diagnostics, and install appliances in tenants' units and in the maintenance shop.

You will work independently with a team, maintain records, order parts, travel between buildings with tools, and uphold safety standards; a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years appliance repair experience with diagnosis and repair.
• Own basic tools and knowledge of safe tool use.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally; 40 lbs repetitively.
• Valid driver’s license to travel between buildings with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair appliances, primarily washers and dryers.
• Install appliances and hook up to power and water.
• Select required parts from inventory for repairs.
• Maintain records for units, repairs, and parts.
• Keep tools and equipment in good condition and secure storage.
• Collaborate with team to provide fast, courteous service to residents.
• Order parts and manage inventory as needed.
• Follow prescribed quality standards and safety procedures.
