Job summary

E.A.S is seeking an experienced appliance repair technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of home appliances. You will work in the field and in a workshop, using your electrical expertise and repair skills.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting from schematics, repairing a variety of appliances, communicating clearly with clients, and keeping accurate service records. Valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional appliance repair experience or related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances. You’ll work both in the field and in a workshop environment, utilizing your expertise in electrical systems and equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals

• Repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, garbage disposals, ovens/ranges

• Assemble and disassemble appliance components as needed

• Provide strong customer service and communicate clearly with clients

• Keep tools and equipment organized and maintained

Experience

• 2 years of professional appliance repair experience or a related field required

• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical systems

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Must live within 20 miles of the Greater Columbus area or be willing to commute

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver appliances

• Fluent in English

• Comfortable with performance-based pay after training

• Able to provide basic hand tools (screwdriver, drill, wrench, etc.)

• Willing to work flexible hours and weekends as desired

Compensation

• $25–$50/hour (commission-based)
