Job summary

LG Electronics in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) to diagnose and repair LG appliances at customer sites across the Cincinnati metro area. The role requires travel to customer locations, using provided PPE and diagnostic tools, with focus on accurate troubleshooting, parts management, and timely paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably field service.
• Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience with tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to obtain appropriate EPA certification.
• Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure product performance.
• Use all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle, and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, and determine whether to repair or replace parts.
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job.
• Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problems prior to arriving at the customer's home.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %).
