Job description

Apple technicians help create energy and excitement around Apple products, provide technology solutions, and get products into customers' hands. They introduce people to the exciting world of Apple, turning curiosity into intense interest by staying in tune with the latest products and initiatives, and applying their expertise in customer interactions. They help customers get more out of our products by sharing knowledge and providing exceptional customer service, thriving on interactions with customers as well as with team members.

Apple technicians assist new owners in getting started and provide current Apple users with quick and efficient support. They respond to customer concerns and requests, ensuring all bookstore property and personnel are secure.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  1. Driving sales and providing product support.
  2. Exemplifying superior Apple knowledge and expertise in troubleshooting and repairs.
  3. Working with vendors to resolve complex problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  4. Demonstrating strong communication skills to converse freely and comfortably with small groups and individual customers.
  5. Assessing customers' sales and support needs upon arrival, providing solutions, and delivering great customer experiences in any environment.
  6. Being flexible in repairs (diagnosis, MRI) to rotate through different technical specialties and skill sets.
  7. Keeping current on Apple and computer product changes or new product launches.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned.
