Burlington Capital Properties is accepting applications for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician position at our Waco, TX property.

We value quality living experiences for our residents and seek individuals skilled in leadership, maintenance, repairs, and customer service. Maintenance team members are responsible for maintaining and improving the property's appearance and functionality.

Work Schedule: The hours are typically 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note, this is not a benefits-eligible position.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain and enhance the condition of homes, including touch-up painting, drywall, plumbing, flooring, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
• Perform and assist with interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, and grounds.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors regarding service requests and unit readiness.
• Adhere to safety and liability guidelines.
• Inspect laundry facilities and common restrooms for proper function and cleanliness.
• Participate in resident events as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent required.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, pools, and general trades.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Positive interaction with residents, staff, vendors, and the public.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, reach, lift, and carry up to 75 pounds. Reliable transportation is required.
