Iberia Fashion LLC in New York seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for an apparel wholesale operation. The ideal candidate will have strong QuickBooks skills, know Accounts Payable/Receivable, and be comfortable supporting fast-paced wholesale finance.

Responsibilities include GL maintenance, vendor payments, reconciliations, monthly close, and collaborating across sales, operations, and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• Apparel wholesale accounting experience is required.
• QuickBooks experience is required.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience with wholesale customer accounts, deductions, returns, credits, and chargebacks.
• Strong understanding of general bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Experience with bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with other departments.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
• Handle Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
• Process customer payments, deposits, credits, and adjustments
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts
• Prepare and process vendor payments
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and assist with collections
• Review and reconcile customer deductions, chargebacks, credits, and returns
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor account records
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures
• Reconcile sales, inventory-related transactions, and cost of goods sold
• Prepare financial reports and provide information to management as needed
• Work closely with management, sales, operations, and warehouse teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounting documentation and records
• Assist outside accountants/CPAs with year-end reporting and other accounting needs
• Perform additional bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities as required
