Job summary

Job Juncture is assisting a client in New York City seeking an Assistant Controller for a wholesale apparel company. You will oversee day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, and support the finance team with various activities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in accounting, strong Sage 100 skills, and experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and credit facilities including letters of credit and duty payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale/retail distribution.
• Experience managing A/P, A/R, reconciliations and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks and financial reporting.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support the finance team.
• Handle Accounts Payable including vendor invoices, checks and wire payments.
• Handle Accounts Receivable including order approvals and monthly reconciliation.
