DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain – Apparel to lead the Apparel department in delivering an engaging shopping experience rooted in product knowledge and athlete connection. You will coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure customers feel confident in their selections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by assisting customers with product knowledge and available assortments.
• Lead the Apparel department by coaching teammates, driving sales, and ensuring customers feel confident in their selections.
• Develop staffing plans, source and onboard direct reports, and manage team performance to meet store goals.
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and store policies; oversee opening/closing procedures and daily operations as needed.
