Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Specialist – Apparel to connect athletes with the right apparel and guidance. You’ll blend product expertise, merchandise know‑how and friendly service to drive results on the sales floor.

You’ll engage customers, support onboarding of teammates, uphold presentation standards, and help grow loyalty program participation while ensuring a welcoming environment and safe store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of retail or customer-facing experience.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an outstanding athlete experience by engaging athletes and advising on products and assortment.
• Onboard and train new and existing team members as subject matter expert.
• Maintain athlete-first mindset and ensure products are ready for purchase and athletes are engaged.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards including floor plans, signage, pricing and stock.
• Promote participation in loyalty programs and other company initiatives.
• Create an inclusive store environment and follow safety and SOPs.
