DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist – Apparel to combine product knowledge with exceptional service, helping athletes find apparel that fits performance and everyday wear. You’ll join a team focused on delivering confident, personalized shopping experiences, training new teammates, and maintaining high merchandising standards.

In this role you’ll help athletes pick the right gear, participate in loyalty programs, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging customers to understand shopping needs and provide product recommendations.
• Onboards and trains new and existing team members as subject matter expert in store processes.
• Maintains store standards in merchandising, signage, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment.
• Upholds company policies, safety, loss prevention and operating procedures, and external guidelines.
• Promotes participation in loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Creates a welcoming store environment with respect and teamwork.
