Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Specialist - Apparel to connect athletes with the right apparel for performance and everyday wear. You will combine product expertise, merchandise know-how, and service to drive sales and customer satisfaction in-store.

As part of the team, you will deliver an engaging shopping experience, support onboarding, and uphold merchandising standards while helping customers with loyalty programs and product recommendations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and provide knowledgeable information about products and assortment.
• Assists with onboarding and training of new team members as subject matter expert of their area of the store, focusing on best practices and operating processes.
• Maintains merchandising and presentation standards following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promotes customer participation in company programs and loyalty initiatives.
• Creates an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes are welcomed and treated with respect.
