Goodwill Industries of the Valleys seeks a dedicated team member to sort apparel and soft line goods, directing items to salable or salvage categories while maintaining quality standards. The role emphasizes donor and customer satisfaction and keeping the sorting area organized and efficient.

Responsibilities include pricing, tagging, transporting apparel as needed, staying current with brand names and price points, and assisting with e-commerce item identification for managerial approval.

Formación

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.

Responsabilidades

• Sort apparel and soft line goods into salable or salvage categories.
• Ensure quality by checking for tears, stains, wetness, odors, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons.
• Maintain a neat and clean sorting/processing area.
• Follow DURT principles and use DURT Alert system to service donors.
• Identify item value and assist with floor rotation, pricing, tagging, and transporting of apparel as needed.
• Stay current with brand names, designer labels, styles, and price points for soft line goods.
• Identify potential e-commerce items for manager approval.
• Plan for adequate donated goods by notifying manager on duty when stock is low.
