Job summary

Responsibilities

• Sort apparel and soft line goods into salable or salvage categories.
• Ensure 100% donor and customer delight with world class service.
• Check for tears, stains, wet, smelly, soiled items, broken zippers, missing buttons.
• Meet sort count goals and maintain organized work area.
• Maintain sorting/processing area in neat, clean condition.
• Identify value of items and assist with pricing and tagging.
• Stay current with brand names, designer labels, styles, and price points.
• Assist with floor rotation and transportation of apparel; identify e‑commerce items for manager approval.
• Preplan for adequate supply of donated goods and notify manager when low.
• Follow safety practices and Goodwill policies; perform other duties as assigned.
• Attend in-service related training as assigned.
