Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Valleys in Lexington, VA is seeking a team member to sort apparel and soft line goods into salable or salvage categories under the Store Manager's supervision. You will ensure items meet quality standards while maintaining inventory levels and a neat, organized sorting area.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally.

Responsibilities

• Sorting apparel and soft line goods into salable or salvage categories.
• Provide quality assurance by checking for tears, stains, wet, smelly, soiled, broken zippers, and missing buttons.
• Sort count goals of one dandux/hour or process 4/6 duros per 8-hour work-shift.
• Maintain sorting and processing area in a neat and clean condition.
• Identify the value of items and assist with floor rotation of apparel as needed.
• Assist with pricing, tagging, and transporting of apparel occasionally or as needed.
