Complex, a leading independent artist merchandise company, seeks an experienced apparel production specialist in Los Angeles. The role focuses on end-to-end garment development, sourcing, tech packs, and coordinating samples through final production.

You’ll work with Brand Management and Production teams to ensure design intent and quality are met, while managing timelines and supplier relationships. You will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment, traveling to supplier sites as

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of apparel production and development experience.
• Familiar with garment construction and end-to-end production.
• In-depth knowledge of production workflows.
• Able to read/interpret technical specs and mockups.
• Strong verbal and written communication with vendors and teams.
• Proactive with leadership and tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and cost control.
• May require travel to supplier/manufacturer sites.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with domestic and overseas factory partners.
• Source fabrics, blanks, embellishments considering design, quality, cost, lead time.
• Create tech packs and product specs with Brand Management and Production teams.
• Coordinate timelines for samples, prototypes, and final production runs.
• Oversee sample creation to match design specs.
• Ensure products meet high quality and functionality standards.
• Manage projects and timelines to meet deadlines in sampling and production.
• Track references, sampling, and references across brands/partners.
• Solve development challenges with the production team.
• Maintain detailed records of product development progress.
• Stay updated on vendor capabilities, performance, and lead times.
• Maintain references of internal/external products and new tech/materials.
