Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking an Apparel Processor in University Heights, OH. The role involves sorting, hanging, and tagging donated apparel and domestics, ensuring quality standards and friendly customer interactions.

You will work to meet production targets, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety policies while embodying our mission and values in a supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• Good people skills.
• Able to identify different shades and tones of color.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay knowledgeable of brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
• Sorts apparel into salable and salvage categories. Provides quality assurance by checking for tears, stains, wetness, smell, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons.
• Hangs and tags quality donations quickly, according to agency standards, while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
• Always maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition. The station should always be ready for the next shift.
• Embodies DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
• Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines. Actively participates with supervisor and team members to address identified safety concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
