Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Merchandising Specialist to bring fashion to life at the store level in Ashtabula, OH. You will style mannequins, set up displays, and ensure apparel reflects brand identity while engaging shoppers in a polished, trend-forward environment.

As an Independent Contractor, you will work on a project basis with flexible hours, executing planograms, reporting store visits via the Winston App, and collaborating with store teams to meet merchandising deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability.
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device.
• Require smartphones for reporting (iPhone 11+ or Android 2020+ with OS within 4 versions of latest).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
