Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Merchandising Specialist to bring fashion to life at the store level. You will style mannequins, organize displays, and ensure presentation reflects brand identity during in-store visits.

This independent contractor role offers a flexible project-based schedule, hourly pay of $19-$22, and opportunities to contribute to seasonal campaigns across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or related field.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• Portfolio preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability.
• Submit store visit reports, including before and after photos and feedback, using the Winston App on a smart device.
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: iPhone 11+; Android: 2020+ device with OS <= four versions behind latest.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
