Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience
• 6 months leadership experience
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Team player with peers and supervisors
• Ability to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations
• Knowledge of store software, systems and procedures
• Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to coach, delegate, and follow-up on multiple tasks
• Ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive customer experience inside and outside the store
• Promotes honesty, integrity, and confidentiality
• Acts as Manager on Duty following company policy
• Ensures store team tasks align with store plan and priorities
• Coaches Associates on customer service issues
• Provides feedback and recognition to Associates
• Partners with Management on training needs
• Ensures adherence to labor laws, policies and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports shrink reduction goals and safety programs
• Maintains opening/closing procedures according to guidelines
• Communicates priorities and progress with management and Associates
• Other duties as assigned
