MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an API Inspector 510/570 to perform internal and external inspections on refinery equipment at Beaumont, TX. The role requires inspection report writing, safety compliance, and occasional travel.

The position is full-time and involves working outdoors in loud plant environments, with certification requirements and the ability to lift 35 lbs and work at heights.

Qualifications

• Possess API certification 510 and 570 with at least one year of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; able to write detailed inspection reports.
• Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.
• Capable of climbing, working at high elevations and in confined spaces.
• Must be able to navigate refinery/plant environments and access elevated platforms via ladders/stairwells.
• Clear speech and hearing with or without accommodations; ability to communicate effectively.
• Adequate vision to conduct investigations.

Responsabilités

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity.
• Perform visual inspection of completed work and recommend/approve repairs.
• Assist in scheduling inspection-related activities.
• Use safety procedures and equipment.
• Complete customer and company forms and paperwork.
• Deliver reports to clients.
• Work outdoors in plant environments with extreme noise levels.
• May travel out of town periodically.
