Job summary

MISTRAS Group in Memphis, TN is seeking an API inspector to perform inspections on pressure vessel, piping, and storage tanks to certify compliance and recommend repairs. The role supports multiple industries including manufacturing, petrochemical, and power generation.

You will work on-site with safety as a priority. Required API certifications (510/570 and/or 653) with at least one year of related experience, a high school diploma, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Possess API certifications (510/570 and/or 653).
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical credits preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in refinery/plant environments.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel for inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal and external inspections on equipment at scheduled intervals.
• Perform visual inspections and recommend/approve repairs.
• Assist in scheduling activities related to inspection and safety procedures.
• Complete required forms and paperwork accurately; deliver reports to clients.
• Travel as needed and work outdoors in plant environments.
