Job summary

America First Credit Union seeks an Enterprise Software Architect to design and lead enterprise integration and API management solutions. You will steer API lifecycles, security, and governance, leveraging IBM API Connect, ACE, and DataPower across hybrid environments.

The role requires steering architectural standards, collaborating with security, infra, and DevOps teams, and mentoring engineers throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in enterprise integration/ API management.
• Experience with JavaScript, Java, and IBM ESQL; REST/ SOAP APIs; XML/ JSON.
• IBM API Connect - Solution Implementer certified and WebSphere MB, IIB, or ACE certified.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise integration and API management solutions.
• Manage full API lifecycle: requirements, design, development, deployment, governance, monitoring and retirement.
• Implement API security (OAuth2, TLS, API Keys) and gateway policies; ensure secure, scalable integrations.
