Job summary

MISTRAS Group, a leading provider of inspection and NDT services, seeks full-time API 510/570/653 Inspectors for Michigan and Wisconsin. You will perform inspections on pressure vessels, piping, and tanks to certify compliance and recommend repairs, in accordance with API standards.

The role requires handling inspections, reporting, and travel as needed. Candidates must have API certifications and proficiency with MS Word/Excel; high school diploma or higher preferred, and the ability to work in

Qualifications

Possess API certification 510/570 with at least one year of related experience.
API certification 653 preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college credits preferred.
Proficient with MS Word and Excel; able to write detailed inspection reports.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Able to maneuver in refinery environments and access elevated platforms.

Responsibilities

Perform internal and external inspections on refinery equipment at scheduled intervals.
Visual inspection of completed work and recommend repairs.
Assist in scheduling inspection activities.
Use proper safety procedures and equipment.
Complete all required forms and paperwork for customers.
Deliver reports to clients and travel to sites as needed.
