Job summary

MISTRAS Group Inc. is seeking an API Inspector for full-time work in Rosemount, Minnesota. The API Inspector will inspect pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks to certify compliance with API standards 510, 570, and 653.

You will schedule inspections, document findings, and deliver reports to clients, often working outdoors in refinery environments with safety gear. API certifications and 2+ years of experience are required; relocation and sign-on bonuses are available for qualified

Qualifications

• API certification(s) required
• 2+ years of API inspection experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school/college credits preferred
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; able to write detailed inspection reports
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs; climb and work at heights; confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on piping, pressure vessels, and storage tanks at scheduled intervals to maintain mechanical integrity
• Perform visual inspections and approve repairs
• Assist in scheduling activities related to inspection
• Deliver reports to clients
• Work outdoors in a plant atmosphere with extreme noise levels
