Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking experienced Direct Service Providers (DSPs) to support individuals in Alafaya, FL under the Florida APD iBudget Waiver. This in‑home and community‑based role offers flexible scheduling and 1099 contractor status.

Applicants should have at least two years of paid DSP experience, familiarity with APD or iBudget Waiver programs, and the ability to travel to client homes. Training and APD‑aligned documentation support are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of paid experience as a Direct Service Provider.
• Prior experience delivering APD or iBudget Waiver programs.
• Level II background screening in accordance with Florida Statutes.
• APD DSP training (initial and ongoing).
• Transportation to client homes and community locations.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and self-care.
• Support community participation and skill development.
• Provide supervision to ensure health and safety.
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support behavioral and communication needs per support plans.
• Document services in APD and iBudget Waiver records.
