DePaul Housing Management Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee maintenance, turnovers, and safety across assigned properties in New York. You will manage work orders, coordinate with the Community Manager, and participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule to promptly address emergencies.

The role requires experience in building maintenance, strong communication, and the ability to operate and train on-site teams while ensuring resident safety and occupancy targets

Qualificações

• Related experience as a Maintenance Superintendent or similar role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform cleaning and building maintenance tasks with safety awareness.
• Basic-to-advanced knowledge of light plumbing, electrical and HVAC.

Responsabilidades

• Lead apartment turnovers quickly and safely to maximize occupancy.
• Perform regular maintenance and building improvements via work orders and inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness of community areas and grounds and coordinate with vendors if needed.
• Protect building safety and respond to emergencies, including on-call shifts.
• Utilize property management systems to document inspections and work orders.
• Manage vendor relationships and control maintenance costs.
• Meet project deadlines and communicate priorities with the Community Manager.
