Job summary

Two Coast Living is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments for new residents at Carrington Park in Houston, TX. You will perform painting, repairs, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, and finish work to meet company standards.

The role collaborates with the Maintenance and Property Management teams, ensuring timeliness and quality. On-site, Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call duties, and a pathway to the Maintenance Technician role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or make-ready/turnover work
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turnover (make-ready) work, including painting, surface repairs, fixture replacement, appliance testing, HVAC filter changes, flooring and carpet touch-ups, and general cleaning
• Ensure apartments meet company quality and safety standards prior to move-in
• Support the maintenance team with ongoing repairs, preventative maintenance, and property upkeep as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards
• Interact professionally and courteously with residents and team members while working throughout the community
