Responsibilities include inspecting vacant units, performing painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical tasks, and ensuring units are ready for occupancy. Tools needed include your own tools and 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance, construction, or related experience.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

Essential Staffing Solutions (ESS) is hiring dependable, hard-working Apartment Make Ready Technicians for temporary and temp-to-hire opportunities with top apartment management companies. Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Job Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units and identify necessary repairs or improvements.
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance installation.
• Ensure all units are cleaned, functioning, and ready for occupancy by new residents.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and property management to address any issues promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Assist with other property maintenance duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have your own tools.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
