Job summary

Allied Orion Group is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to support property operations in Houston. The role focuses on responding to work orders, repairing appliances, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems, and preparing vacant units for move-in.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect for hazards, and help maintain common areas and pool areas. Overtime and on-call availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of multi-family experience or equivalent experience is required.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within 6 months.
• Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred.
• Must have city/state certifications/permits to perform job responsibilities (pool operations).

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and interior finishes as directed.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete make-ready tasks.
• Identify and correct hazardous conditions; secure pool and common areas.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and units.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and shops.
• Be available for overtime, on-call emergencies, and travel as needed.
