Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in apartment or building maintenance.
• EPA certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 180 days (paid by HSL).
• Background check and pre-employment drug screen required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the physical condition of the community and correct unsafe conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance/repair and clean-up as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and driving safety related duties.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Complete duties to ensure resident comfort and security.
