Tribute Companies is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician in Ladson, SC to keep the community running smoothly. You will handle daily maintenance, appliance repair, HVAC, and apartment turns to ensure residents have a clean, comfortable home.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year general maintenance experience, basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy objects and use basic tools. On-call rotation and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in general maintenance
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
• Own and know how to use basic hand and power tools, able to lift heavy objects, and climb ladders
• Requires ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Keep the Community Running Smoothly: perform daily maintenance, preventative maintenance, and general property upkeep
• Diagnose and Repair Issues: tackle maintenance requests efficiently and ensure apartments and common areas remain in excellent condition
• Prepare Apartment Homes for Move-In: complete apartment turns that create a clean, welcoming home for new residents
• Protect the Community's Assets: conduct preventative maintenance to help maintain a safe, attractive, and well-functioning property

Your Role:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge: 1+ years of experience in general maintenance, with a basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

• Certified: HVAC/EPA Certification is a plus.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. On-call duty rotation required.
• Trustworthy: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Pay: The pay for this opportunity can vary and may range anywhere from $25 to $27 per hour. The base compensation rate will vary based on education, experience, skills, and geographic location, as applicable.
