Job summary

Ad-West Realty Services, Inc. is seeking a Property Maintenance Repair Technician to service two apartment communities in Oak Harbor, WA. You will perform inspections, repairs, and on-call emergencies, ensuring safety and tenant satisfaction.

Two properties, 114 units total, with maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool care if applicable, and prompt updates to work orders. Requires a high school diploma and strong mechanical skills; on-site, full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant maintenance or similar experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining records and work orders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with tenants and the property management team.
• Prior experience in property maintenance or facilities management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on buildings, locks, plumbing, lighting, and fixtures.
• Inspect vacated and occupied apartments to identify maintenance needs.
• Replace switches, thermostats, and appliance parts.
• Maintain outdoor lighting and pool equipment where applicable.
• Complete work orders with detailed updates and documentation.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs and communicate status to the team.
• Maintain positive relations with residents and uphold safety standards.
