Job summary

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Edgewood, Maryland for Windsor Valley Apartments. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience and proficiency in appliance repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall and painting.

HVAC/CFC certifications are a plus. The technician will handle on-site maintenance, unit turnovers, and be part of the after-hours on-call rotation, reporting to the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years apartment maintenance experience.
• Experience with appliance repairs, general carpentry, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, drywall and painting.
• HVAC/CFC certification is a plus.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical matters related to general apartment maintenance.
• Assist with unit turnovers and participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
• Report to the Community Manager and coordinate with contractors.
