Job summary

SoCal Pacific Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Riverside, CA. Under supervision of the Maintenance/Community Manager, you will perform general maintenance, handle work orders, and assist with construction/rehabilitation needs of the apartment community.

You will collaborate to achieve occupancy goals and resident satisfaction. You will prepare vacants, coordinate turns, manage service requests in Yardi, and maintain supplies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance duties.
• A valid California driver’s license is required.
• HVAC certification preferred; CPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks and handle work orders.
• Prepare vacant apartments including painting, cleaning, and repairs to ensure move-in readiness.
• Coordinate with Maintenance/Community Manager on move-in schedule and unit turns.
• Manage open service requests in Yardi and complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; ensure safety compliance.
• Keep common areas clean and presentable; respond to resident concerns promptly.
• Assist with preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company policies.
