Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the efficient operation of property buildings and grounds. This role supports vacant unit prep, inventory control, and safety compliance while upholding a professional appearance and on-call responsiveness.

The position requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus hands-on property maintenance experience. AMC offers competitive pay, benefits, and incentive programs across locations.

Qualifications

• Operate various hand tools and power tools to repair and maintain property assets.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems relevant to property upkeep.
• Experience in property maintenance or handyman work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repairs and upkeep of the property and prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Maintain and inventory supplies and equipment; ensure necessary tools are on hand.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards; keep maintenance areas clean and secure.
• Be available for on-call service and respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours.
• Keep maintenance shops secure at day end and handle snow/ice removal as needed.
• Assist with lock-outs related to evictions and 24/7 response requirements.
