Job summary

CAPREIT invites you to join Peine Lakes in Wentzville, MO as a Maintenance Technician. You will troubleshoot and repair heating, A/C, water heaters, plumbing, electrical systems and general building upkeep, while ensuring safety and quality.

You’ll prep vacant apartments, assist with preventative maintenance, and support office staff with resident communications and on-call duties. Qualifications include at least 1 year in apartment maintenance, a valid driver’s license, basic tools, and high

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Computer literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace heating, A/C units, water heaters, appliances, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Maintain building interiors/exteriors, drainage, and carpentry as needed.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and notify management if unresolved.
• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment.
• Assist with grounds, inspections, and vacant apartment prep for move-in.
• Coordinate with office staff and vendors in a professional manner.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

CFC certification (Type I/II or Universal)
