Job summary

Village Square in Broomfield, CO is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team of apartment maintenance professionals. You will handle painting, carpet cleaning, appliance repair, and routine upkeep to preserve our 108-unit affordable community.

Responsibilities include prioritizing work orders, troubleshooting plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry, participating in on-call rotations, and delivering friendly, safety-conscious service to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with drive and determination to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and good driving record required.
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work orders and adjust priorities as needed.
• Perform standard apartment maintenance, including painting, carpet cleaning, and appliance repair.
• Troubleshoot, perform, and/or assist with maintenance and repairs related to plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, roofing, carpentry, and swimming pool maintenance.
• Demonstrate strong self-reliance and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Control expenses in accordance with budget guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Participate in resident promotions and/or functions as required by the Property Manager.
• Follow all safety and liability guidelines as outlined by management.
• Assist with other duties as requested by management.
