Job summary

The Phoenix Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to service multifamily communities in Tucson, AZ. You will maintain resident units and common areas, respond to requests, and help keep properties in top condition.

A strong background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, drywall, and HVAC basics is required. Prior apartment maintenance experience is mandatory, with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or multifamily maintenance experience is REQUIRED.
• Hands-on experience completing maintenance and repairs within occupied apartment communities.
• Working knowledge of apartment plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance.
• Experience with resident work orders, make-readies, and unit turns.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and apartment community inspections.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and other apartment systems.
• Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs or next steps.
• Perform basic HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance when qualified.
• Complete preventive maintenance and property inspections.
• Assist with apartment make-readies, unit turns, and punch-list items.
• Repair or replace fixtures, hardware, appliances, and other apartment components.
• Maintain community amenities, common areas, buildings, and exterior areas.
• Communicate maintenance updates and repair status with property management teams.
