Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician 3 for an on-site role in Mountain House, CA. Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8am–5pm, on-call required.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure buildings and common areas meet safety and quality standards, with responsibilities ranging from work orders to make-ready tasks for new move-ins. Requires 1–2 years of experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license for on-property vehicle use.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Access and obtain materials from the maintenance department and track inventory.
• Document maintenance work promptly and accurately for service-request records.
• Maintain grounds and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
