Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking an experienced apartment maintenance technician in Texas. You will handle resident service requests and preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to code standards.

The role includes preparing vacants for leasing, making punch lists, and coordinating vendors as needed. You'll also manage inventory, document work, maintain grounds, and contribute to cost-saving by repairing parts when feasible.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical/other training completed.
• AC Certification I and II attained.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance while diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Handles the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling, and supplies.
• Accesses materials and tracks inventory, returning unused items and notifying supervision when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents work and maintains accurate records for service requests.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning, painting, and basic upkeep.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts when possible and using materials responsibly.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call as needed.

Education

AC Certification I and II
