Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Centreville, VA to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the property. You will diagnose and repair HVAC units, electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry, ensuring apartments are ready for move-in.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, HVAC expertise, and EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification (or within 90 days of hire). A valid state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or similar.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required by hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• HVAC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to apartments and property facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units.
