Job summary

MAA Park in Nashville is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair in apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to keep spaces in excellent condition.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of experience in multifamily maintenance and hold EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification; EPA and/or pool operator credentials are required or obtained

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
• Handle plumbing, carpentry, and lock-related tasks as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and communicate with residents after repairs.
