Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Charlotte to perform general upkeep on apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry components, following a preventive maintenance plan and communicating with residents after fixes.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance, HVAC experience, EPA Type II/Universal certification by hire or within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related fields.
• HVAC experience required and EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to apartment homes and facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units and electrical/plumbing issues.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and update residents after repairs.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units; electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
