Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs to keep apartment homes and facilities in good order. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, electrical outlets, and plumbing, and preparing units for move-in.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in multifamily property maintenance, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or within 90 days), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for move-in and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets and light fixtures.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs.
